The team has decided to stay one more night in Tver. They are making arrangements to send some of their food supply to a contact farther down river in order to lighten their load, significantly. Tver Kayaking Team has helped our team out tremendously. Andre, has been driving them where they need to go and helping with the language barrier, somewhat. While on the phone wtih West, he exclaimed they were parked ON the sidewalk at that very moment. Jeff says more of the Tver Kayak Team has come out this morning in a show of support and they will be interviewed by Russian One (1) Television, one of the largest in the country.
We are being contacted by other kayaking clubs downriver and will be able to use the help they offer, as well. As each town comes up, I will share their information. The paddling community, as a whole, is a great environment to be around.
